Notice to Job Seekers Regarding Fraudulent Activity

Thank you for your interest in Xencor. We encourage you to explore opportunities with our company.

We also urge you to be aware and critical about recruitment scams in which fraudsters pose as company representatives. Please be cautious and keep in mind the points below as you progress in your job search:

  • You should take steps to confirm that the job communication is legitimate. Any email communications from Xencor to job applicants will only be sent to or from the domain “@xencor.com”. Communications from an unfamiliar domain, website, or person such as yahoo.com, gmail.com, hotmail.com, aol.com, etc., are not legitimate Xencor communications.
  • Communications that are vague as to job description and/or extend a job offer without an interview. We will always reference a specific job opening and would never extend an offer prior to conducting interviews.
  • Instructions to use a particular app, such as Signal, WhatsApp, Telegram, Google Hangouts or Skype, to exchange written communications in connection with the recruitment, application, and interview process. We will always communicate from our domain “@xencor.com”.
  • Communications during the application phase requesting sensitive personal data, including Social Security Number, date of birth, passport or driver’s license number, or other government-issued identification numbers, or bank or financial account information. We will not ask you for this information until you are actively employed at Xencor.
  • Requests for money at any point in the application process. We will never ask you for money in exchange for employment opportunities or as part of our onboarding process.

Available Xencor openings are published on this page. If you believe you may have been the victim of identity theft or fraud, you can report the matter to law enforcement, including your local law enforcement, your state attorney general, the Federal Bureau of Investigation or the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

You can contact the FTC to learn more about protecting yourself from becoming a victim of identity theft at 1-877-IDTHEFT (1-877-438-4338) or www.ftc.gov/idtheft. Please note that under no circumstances will Xencor be held responsible or liable for any claims, losses, damages, expenses, or other inconvenience resulting from or in any way connected to the fraudulent actions of another person or entity.

Notice to Vendor Agencies

Xencor Human Resources exclusively manages all aspects of its recruiting and hiring processes. Any unsolicited submission of services or resumes in no way creates an obligation or duty by Xencor, implied or otherwise. No fees will be remitted in connection with unsolicited resumes. Furthermore, a valid agreement between a recruiting vendor and Xencor does not constitute permission to offer candidates, profiles or services to hiring managers unless there is express, prior approval by Xencor Human Resources.
