Kenneth Hung

Kenneth Hung, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Hung is responsible for leading Xencor’s clinical development strategy and execution in autoimmune disease. Prior to joining Xencor in April 2024, he held roles of increasing responsibility over a decade at Pfizer within precision medicine, inflammation and immunology. Most recently, he served as the gastroenterology therapeutic area lead where he led clinical development for programs in ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease for an anti-TL1A Mab. Prior to Pfizer, he held faculty roles at Tufts University, including in the Division of Gastroenterology in the Department of Medicine. Dr. Hung received his M.D. and Ph.D. from The John Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed his internal medicine training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, followed by gastroenterology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital.
